I'm still uncertain as to why we need such an expensive dedicated server. Or a dedicated server at all. There are plenty of wicked reliable hosts out there for a fraction of the cost. With just over 2600 users, I don't feel that that's really a call for such an expensive service that we don't really need.

And what's your SEO/Marketing plan? If you have this server for the day that we have a million users, how are you getting those users in the door and letting them know that this is the place to be?

i love bloop, and i want it to be here forever and ever but it seems like a lot of the time the bill cant be paid unless the users pay for it. i dont think you Steve alone should be paying it, but at the same time i dont like seeing these notices, makes me wonder i guess and i think if users pay for the up keep and bills monthly thats fine, im certainly ok to do that but can we maybe get a few more features for bloop? i dunno, im not sure if this makes sense and i dont wanna sound mean or lame. i guess i just wonder why now its become difficult and things have changed. i dunno, im not asking for a person explanation so if thats what it is, its not my business.

I have to agree with Lady Sunshine.

It kind of irks me that for months you've been asking the users of the community to help foot the bill/pay for xtra. If the server is so expensive, why not get a cheaper, more affordable one. I don't think it's fair that you're asking the users to donate/purchase xtra to help pay for the bill. You own the site, you should be able to pay for it. It would be different if the site was a pay-only site.

And I don't mean to sound rude, and ungreatful because I do love bloop and I love all that you do for us at bloop, but it always seems the users have to be the ones to keep the site afloat. Hardly fair, is it?♥Lacy

I think there should be more features so more people will want to buy bloop xtra. Like editing in the forum for bloop xtra members, a lot of people would probably pay for that!
