I went to the doctor because I was very concerned. I found out that I had a bladder infected/UTI and a vaginal infection. SO we ARE going to wait and try... we can't have sex for a week as it is. I have to take an antibiotic and insert this cream stuff inside of my vagina for 5 days and then it's all gone. It probably came from the public pool. That's what my OB said. Ugh, this sucks. I've been cramping so much and it's hard to pee. I've also been very constipated. I hope this all ends soon.

First of all if you have a UTI you wouldn't have a *cream* to put inside. I'm a nursing student. They would have put you on antibiotics and told you to drink cranberry juice.
yeah i've had a UTI before and i was given anti biotics that make ur pee turn orange haha and cranberry juice. you only get a vaginal cream if you have some type of itching problem or infection inside..not for a UTI. that does nothing for a UTI. You don't get it from a public pool you get it from either too much sex, not peeing after sex, lack of water or too much soda.. lots of stuff.. but not from a pool. geez.
you can also get a vaginal infection from being ahem... dirty.. maybe she doesn't clean herself well enough or at all.. I guess if i'm gonna be called an ass I'll act like one.
Maybe you're right, or maybe she just has it from taking baths, or some other common thing. She never specified what she thought for sure.. she just said that it MIGHT have been that but whatever the case is she is taking care of it, if she was dirty I am sure she would have never even noticed the sight of infection.
