There's absolutely no reason to be afraid.

I'm definitely not in good shape, and that was my worst fear of losing my virginity. He thought I was beautiful, and it stopped bothering me quickly.

Being a virgin I technically can't say anything, but what I do know is that make sure you're absolutely positively ready for it. That way the apprehension you feel won't be as great.

Well it's been five years since i've lost my virginity and i honestly don't remember if it hurt, but i do remember the awkwardness afterwards, just make sure you're ready!

FIRST i'd say you have to seriously think about this.. because I don't know how old you are. And seeing as I have a sister who is 14 I wouldn't want her going off and having sex. JUST think it through.

I'd say dont let people scare you with it hurts like hell but it might for some people. I don't remember it hurting but I imagine it couldn't have hurt that bad because I had sex again an hour later.

i mean honestly my first time hurt but it wasn't too bad and after that it was great... also dont worry about your body. you always see yourself different from how other people see it. and he's obviously attracted to you. the best thing is to be confident in yourself, and if you're not confident then fake being confident and eventually you'll actually start feeling confident.

The only reason all these people are telling you the first time hurts, is because it hurts when you're not ready. It hurts when you're scared, anxious, unprepared. When it's not the right time.
When everything's right, when you've made the firm decision that's its what you want to do, what you feel is right for yourself, it won't hurt at all. It could be the best experience of your life, and not something you have to grow accustomed to.
That's how it should be.
So if you're this afraid, you said you're young. Just wait. Because if you're too young, in a few years, most likely you'll regret it. Most girls do.

^ That's not completely true. Being anxious can make it hurt more... but it also has to do with penis size! My first partner didn't hurt at all. 2 years later and with my second partner it hurt SO badly. It just depends.

Actually, whether it hurts or not can have a lot to do with whether your hymen has already broken or not. If you've used tampons, or done horseriding, there's a fair chance it will have done.

On the other hand, I'd done both those things (and had quite a history of rather enthusiastic masturbation, though admittedly not vaginal) and mine wasn't broken. It hurt, but it wasn't horrible or traumatic.

my first time didnt hurt. everyone is different, different partners. but if your worried about how he thinks of you then you arent ready. you should already know he thinks your beautiful or that he loves the extra weight. if hes told you that he doesnt like how you look then he definately isnt the right person. think it through, dont do it because your curious(as i did). be safe!
