Confidence

Ask anyone who knows me, and they will tell you I am the most confident person they know. The truth is, I'm scared of everything and have absolutely zero confidence. I'm afraid to talk to new people. I don't have any belief in myself. I worry what people think and just want to hide in a corner every time I'm in a new situation.

how do you show everyone your confident if you say your afraid to talk to new people. you have to have confidence to do that.

I have a RL friend who projects confidence and fearlessness as a way of hiding her own fears and worries and insecurities so I understand. I was very insecure too when I was younger, I found that I worked through the worst of my insecurities when I started accomplishing things on my own. If you can make people believe you're confident then you obviously are good enough to pull it off, maybe you're stronger than you think you are?

Being afraid to talk to new people is a different thing, I'm painfully introverted and even though I believe in my abilities at work (for example) I still hate to go track someone in the plant down and ask them something.
