Cutter

I've been cutting/scratching myself for the last six years. It's to the point where even if I feel happy and love myself, I'll look at my wrist and still feel like hacking the hell out of it. I'm so worried that my first two-week relationship came and went, and when things went wrong, I'd cut, but I've been thinking about it more and more since we've broken up. I'm only eighteen, and I probably have yet to experience anything truly tragic. I'm so worried I'm going to grow up, get divorced, and then cut myself so deeply, that I'll die.

No you won't! I've been self harming on and off for 12 years. It's just my way of releasing daily stress. I haven't for ages coz I'm pregnant and I'm more worried about what the additional stress will do to the baby. Self harming is very addictive, so try and break the cycle if you want to stop. You might not stop forever, maybe only a week or so, but every day is a massive achievement when it's an everyday thing. x

I think about it alot too. I don't do it because I have someone who loves me very much and I don't want to hurt them. If you can keep from doing it, you should. Use gum, ice, anything you can. Message me if you want to talk.

i used to cut also(havent done it in almost a year)as odd as it may sound,when i feel the urge to cut,ill grab bright red lipstick an 'cut' with that.just mark up my arms with lipstick.it sounds weird i know,but it works for me.maybe you should try it?
