Whenever I'm at work at see a morbidly obese couple waddle in with a small child trailing behind them, it makes me worry for that child.

Children often follow in their parents footsteps, but eventually, children get minds of their own and can make their own choices. With the push in mainstream culture these days to live healthier and get the obesity epidemic under control, I think the child will have plenty of outside influences that are healthier. At the same time, though, 49% of 3 to 6 year old girls worry about being fat. By the fourth grade, more than 80 percent of girls have tried a fad diet. At this point, we should worry about whether that kid is going to have self esteem issues more than about whether or not they'll grow up to waddle like their parents.

Agreed, but you said it a lot better than I could have, especially the bit about self-esteem issues.

Self esteem issues or have to grow up without their parents because they die from any condition that stems from obesity.

wow, that's the pot calling the kettle black.

LOL! She's rude yet you're sitting here telling them to stuff their face with a quarter pounder?

Like honestly, I'm fat, and I completely agree with this. Fat people usually pass their shitty eating habits on to their kids (which is why I wound up fat. derrr.)

Learn how to type before you go trying to insult someone who is legitimately concerned about the well being of children.

I completely agree. I'm a big girl too, but I eat like shit and so does my dad, who raised me.

Children don't really have control of their eating habits until they get older because of the parental control.

Well, at least their child is small. You'd have more cause to worry if there was a morbidly obese child waddling behind them.

Gosh, Bloop Secrets is turning into Dear Anonymous! Half of these 'secrets' are clearly fakies trying to get a reaction!

Let me guess, Mrs. Mommy.. you're telling her to eat a quarter pounder because??? misery loves company, right? [♥]-True

It's not without good reason. A recent study shows that if you have an obese parent, you are 43% likely to be obese as an adult. If you have two obese parents, you are 86% likely to be obese as an adult.
