Frenemies

02/05/2011

I tried to reach out to you and be your friend, but you shot me down and talked mad shit about me. Now we are so consumed with fighting and competing its ridiculous, straight up enemies like out of a movie. You have hurt me so many times. I just want this to be over but now our hatred has become an obsession between the two of us and I'm afraid it will always be like this. I would love to call it quits but you won't. You hate me THAT much its like your whole goal in life is to make me miserable. The funny thing is that if things were different we could easily be best friends. Or sisters we are so much alike.

I would be friends with my enemy if she wasn't such a bitch to me. I guess that's my secret?

You know, if you feel this way - s/he probably does as well.

Kids in high school are shit heads about forgiving + moving on. If you're still in high school honestly, just wait until you graduate. People seem to grow up the second they leave high school and realize how stupid they are for fighting and talking crap about other people.

Although I have a frenemy like this. So I know how you feel. Sometimes you gotta forget them and move on.

Hopefully one day s/he'll make the first move.

It's pathetic if someone's ambition in life is to make someone else's life miserable.

Forget about this person and move on. Don't let them drag you down with them.♥

Join the club. My enemy was my best friend until she started having some crazy mid-life crisis and started sleeping with a 17 year old at the age of 36. I quickly became the bad person for not accepting that she was cheating on her husband of 15 years or so for a 17 year old with large genitals. I would still be her best friend had she not chosen sex and lies over the good life she really had.

You can call it quits at any time. Just stop retaliating against her. She'll throw a couple more shots at you, but eventually she'll see it's going nowhere and get bored. Who knows what will happen after that? Maybe she'll try to contact you. But if you feel this way, it's probably for the best that you at least remove yourself from the 'fight'. It will be a lot less stressful for you, anyway.

I don't know what to say about this, I've had a "frienemy" before and well I got rid of her and I feel better, evaluate the situation over time and just follow your heart, you may be blind to somethings that are going on.

You can't control other people and how they treat you, but you can control how you react to them. It takes two people to carry on something like this, so just stop it at your end.

I think we all have someone like this in our lives. It's easier to just get away from them. I can't -want- to be friends with anyone who treats me like crap, though. I would always hold a grudge. lol
