why?

42 million abortions take place, per year, worldwide.

so i ask you...

if abortion was illegal...

are you going to be one of the 42 million people who will need to step up and adopt one of those babies? drug babies? fas babies?

or were you just expecting those mothers (who probably had a good reason to abort in the first place) to suck it up and take responsibility? ha!!!!!!

dont we have enough problems finding homes for babies already?

I think that's the main reason so many kids don't get adopted.

What is it at now, still like ten thousand?

Exactly. I don't understand how it can possibly be necessary for it to cost THAT MUCH to ADOPT a child to give them a HOME. Seriously, the parent is going to shell out thousands upon thousands upon thousands of bucks to raise the kid to adulthood, so why pay $10,000 just to be able to ADOPT them!?

Its the only thing that has ever prevented me and my husband from doing it

my 2 cents: if abortion was illegal, just like pot and drugs, the numbers would soar, and so would the casualties of botched jobs would also soar.

I also agree with you. I would even go as far as there are a lot of people out there who have children who shouldn't have.

Cost means nothing, adoption doesn't cost anything in the UK, oddly enough a high number of children in care, will never leave the system.

Cost means nothing? Maybe not in the UK, but in the US it means EVERYTHING.
