Also, how can you hate something you haven't even bothered trying? And you'd be surprised the amount of people who actually smoke pot and are "fine upstanding" citizens with stable jobs and families. I smoked pot for the very first time this past weekend - I'm 22. I used to look at people the same exact way as you, but after trying it, I don't see what the big deal is. I am not going to smoke pot on a regular basis, just to clear that up, but after trying it, I am no longer judgmental about other people and their smoking habits - as long as it doesn't take over their entire life. But pot isn't the reason people don't do anything with their lives - it's laziness, and lack of ambition.

I feel the same way. But then again, I hate being around drunk people when I'm sober, for the same reason, and I still drink.

I know this is someone opinion but what a crock of shit. Why put everyone who has tried drugs into one bracket? slightly unfair I think. Yes I have tried drugs. No I am not addicted. That was about 10 years ago. Do you smoke? That is a form of drug. I am a successful mother, I work full time and I run a household. So before you judge everyone, think that the outcome for everyone will be different.

i literally just wrote an entry about how i smoked pot for the first time in like eight years. i get that you don't ever do drugs, but to say that everyone who uses drugs are losers? i'm a loser? really? i have three kids, i'm married, we just bought a house, AND not to mention i'm only 21. fuck you and your judgemental ass.

I'm such a big loser, who will make at the very least 85,000 right out of college, right? This is ONLY because I smoke pot, had nothing to do with the rest of my life.

In short, I think the real losers at the people anonymously judging people over the Internet over something they clearly know nothing about.

I don't think it's fair to refer to those who smoke pot as "losers". Same goes for any other drug. I smoke pot, and I am quite far from being a loser. In fact, I'm pretty awesome. If you've been around people who smokes pot and they've acted like idiots, that's probably because they can't handle the high. Not everyone gets that way when they are stoned.

I would like to make a guess that everyone that has previously commented against this secret (calling it ignorant, whatever) are the ones that smoke pot and currently use other recreational drugs. I'd like to point out that the secret never said "anyone who ever did drugs/smoked pot," it was a present tense statement. I am not the person who wrote the secret, but I get what they are coming from. Every single person I know that does (or even did) smoke pot or do drugs IS a loser. CAN you smoke pot/do drugs and get thru college as you should? Yes, it is possible. But it's not a typical situation, either.

In hindsight, I wish I wouldn't have started because now I can't stop smokin weed. But I don't touch hard shit like pills or hard drugs. just Pot. they are tryin to legalize that shit.

I can somewhat understand where you're coming from... only mine was experience. I had a drug addicted older brother who used to beat me up "because we were just playing". He was 27 and I was 10. That's not playing fair. After that I was always afraid of people who did any drugs. I have family members who smoke a lot of weed and I just think, honestly, it's a huge waste of money. Neither of these people can pay their bills (which I've shelled out for numerous times) but they always have pot. I do think that's loser-ish. I spent a good chunk of my life in a drunken stupor and thought THAT was loserish. The thing is, if someone wants to do it, that's their own personal business. I do get frustrated with my family but everyone else is on their own.

People I love dearly in my own family smoke pot. I've smoked pot. I've never done it regularly. I didn't waste my money buying it or anything like that. But to each their own. And if you're gonna be as judgmental to say that everyone who smokes pot is a loser... you are sadly mistaken.

Dont knock it till you try it. Clearly you've only ever met STONERS. People who smoke pot like it's some sort of way of life. I know people like that, and i know people who come home and instead of relaxing after a hard day's work with a glass of wine or a beer, they spark a bowl pack instead. Same effect, releases endorphins, helps you relax a little, etc., etc. Long story short, dont hate. It's not heroin, and alcohol is exponentially more damaging than weed.

Yea, my grandma who uses medical marijuana to ease the pain of breast cancer is a REAL loser. Which is why she is a college graduate and owns a chain of antique stores in California.

i laughed and laughed....and don't have any response to give you than any other person who has smoked pot at some point in their lives can give you. Just....get over it, honey. Maybe it's the country i live in, but weed is such old news that, like gay marriage, we all just giggle when stupid shit like this is brought up again like it's an issue.

Eh... I can relate to the last line of this. I've never done drugs before. But I knew someone who just didn't get that I didn't want to try them. I was made to feel like an 'unenlightened fool' because he thought I was stupid and ignorant for not wanting to try. I got the whole "but how can you not want to do it if you haven't even *tried* it?" thing. No, thanks. I'd rather not mess with my synaptic connections.

And being around disgustingly drunk people is annoying. That's why I don't drink to excess and that's why I don't go out to places where people do. The number of times I've had to clean vomit off people and throw them in a taxi... so over it.

I'm anti-drugs too but that's for my own body alone and wouldn't force my opinion on others or call them 'losers' for making that choice.

I think that just like people shouldn't impose their own opinions on people who DO do drugs, people who do use them shouldn't impose their opinions on those who don't.

I think this entry is a bit harsh. I agree that SOME people who get stoned, high, drunk, etc can be annoying and stupid and selfish. And I myself have never done drugs (except drinking) and will never do drugs. And I would never want to be around anyone who did EXTREME drugs, but I think marijuana is just becoming part of society and becoming more acceptable. Not saying that it's right or wrong but I won't judge my friends or family if they wish to smoke. Just like I know they don't judge me if I wish to have a couple of drinks.

So I can understand where you are coming from with this entry but I think that growing up and getting more experience with people and life will show you that the "drug" topic is just not black and white. There are grey areas.

Maybe you just need to smoke a joint and change your mind. I don't judge people who do NOT smoke or do any other drugs, and I think most of their behaviors, ideas, etc are bogus. The scientist who discovered the double helix to DNA was tripping on LSD. So there's one thing.

And for the record, marijuana is a PLANT. THC is the drug. It'll be legal in 15 years, you betcha.

Honestly, I have to agree a little bit. I do think a little less of people that smoke pot. While I know there are successful people out there that smoke pot, I don't know a single one. And it's fucking EVERYWHERE. It seems I can't talk to ANYONE without learning they're a pot smoker. And god, the smell. I'd rather smell dead skunk than marijuana.

I can't say I think they're all disgusting losers, I just don't like the habit.

And before anyone jumps on me and calls me a hypocrite, yes, I do drink occasionally. Occasionally being the operative word, and I've NEVER been drunk.

People can do what they want, but don't get mad at me if I think it's a stupid habit. And don't get on my case, trying to make me feel bad about MY choices if I don't choose to smoke with you. That shit pisses me off and it happens ALL THE DAMN TIME.

I am very anti drug as well I dont drink do drugs or smoke the ones who smoke pot, constantly drink are losers despite some of them may have serious drug and alcohol issues.
