You passed away in August of 2007. I did your memorial service.

I wish I'd had a chance to tell you how beautiful you were, how deeply I respected you and your wisdom and your strength.

We need more people like you in this community, darling, but sadly - all we have now are self-centered drama queens who think it's all about THEM.

Life was simpler back in 1992 or so, wasn't it? How I wish I could go back to those days, with you and your hubby and many other folks we knew.

Light perpetual shine upon you, my friend.

as a girl who's grandfather just passed-- i think about communicating with the dead often. Especially to say things that i hope they can hear in some form or another.

there is a legend in some parts of the world.. that if you say the deads name, they can hear you..

I've talked to my grandparents in a dream several times and they hear everything i said..

There are some loved ones that have passed on that I would like to be able to see again, to talk to. Or even, get to know. But..at the end of the day, it would only make things worse. Those wounds take time to heal and if you were re-introduced to a deceased loved one, you'd be back at square one all over again when they had to say goodbye. If you watch Supernatural, you know what I'm talking about.

As hard as it is, even years later, I couldn't bring it all back again.
