What's your secret?

I want this forever.

05/29/2010

I love my fiance with all of my heart. I had a miscarriage and now I am kinda scared to try again but I want to and am going to. We had sex today and it was "too soon" but he "pulled out" but he doesn't want to. He cried earlier because he wanted to keep trying NOW.. He doesn't want to wait but he understands my body needs time. What do I do?

Be an adult and talk to him?

If he understands, just go from there. If it's too soon, it's too soon. And if he's your fiance, that means that you intend to marry, and will presumably be together forever. You have plenty of time to try again later. No need to rush now

you could do the passive thing and get a diaphram or sponge.

you could do the adult thing (like anon said) and talk to him and explain that your body needs time to heal, otherwise you'll have another miscarriage---which will cause more grief and sorrow.

you could also remind him that right now (without kids) your life is great! you can go out, do whatever you want, not have to worry about a sitter, you can have sex anywhere in the house! TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THAT! (because once the baby comes, all that goes out the window).
