Dear Mr. S:

Since shortly after I met you, I have desired you.

Yes, you are happily married with a beautiful 2 year old son. There is no hint that you'd ever leave Mrs. S.

Yes, I am in a relationship with Mr. J. I am not happy in it, because Mr. J is everything you are not. Mr. J is lazy, he makes lame excuses to get out of taking any kind of responsibility for his life, he has no ambition whatsoever, he lies, he's an overgrown 12 year old, and he is so touchy and yells at me very easily over stupid things.

You, Mr. S, are a driven man with great ambition to make something of your life, you have just started a fantastic new job and will be able to care for your family, you are honorable, you are charming and friendly and outgoing, you have many hobbies that I also enjoy, and I for one find you to be not only handsome and sexy and every woman's dream, but quite inspirational (even beyond your simple hotness).

I have very little respect any more for Mr. J.

I have very strong respect for you, Mr. S.

And even if you and I go through our entire lives and never even spend so much as one romantic hour together, that's just fine.

I will always be so very honored to call you "FRIEND."
