My Lies

I know I am not the only person who feels this way. I lie so I dont hurt thier feelings.

"Cute baby"
"Cute couple"
"He/she is cute"
"I love your outfit"

Really I am saying

"Ugly baby I feel bad for this kid"
"Ugly couple"
"He/she is not pretty what do you see in them?"
"Your outfit is awful"

I know I am shallow, I just cannot help it. But I lie to make them feel better and I cannot stop it.

I'm shallow, but I don't try to hide it. Either embrace who you are or try to change it. Nobody likes a liar.

Sometimes you have to lie like that because if you told the truth then it would hurt their feelings. I think it's a little white lie, plus what they don't know won't hurt them right? I'm just too nice to be rude. lol.♥Lacy

those kinds of lies are generally the acceptable kind, and the kind that a lot of us make..all the time. it just isn't acceptable to walk up to someone and comment on how ugly their spouse/child is! lol.♥ -

I would just feel way too bad telling a mother that her baby is just not cute.
