Yay I'm so excited! I weighed myself compared to last week and I lost 3 pounds!! And what's great about that is that I thought I wouldn't have lost any weight at all. I've been pretty bad over the last three days. I skipped my exercises, haven't been sleeping right and have been eating too late- sometimes at like 3a.m. while I'm up playing video games. Not even eating right either... sandwiches, french fries, chips... I had one soda- a Mtn Dew. It makes me angry in a way because if I would have stuck out to my diet and exercised for the three days I skipped, I wonder if I could have lost five pounds this week.
Really it goes to show just how much simple changes to your life can make a big difference. I've been drinking my protein shakes and a lot of water. One thing a nutritionist told me is that if don't eat enough protein, not only do I feel hungrier sooner but my body will feel like its starving itself and it'll hold on to all of these extra calories. Plus with drinking tons of water, I haven't been drinking any of the junk that I usually drink. Really my diet hasn't changed all that much... I still eat what I want to, but I control my sizes and balance it out with protein shakes and water. I refuse to give up pizza and pasta in order to lose 100lbs, but I figure if I drink a protein shake and have one small slice, everything will be okay.
This week I will make a bigger effort not to fluke out on the exercise program. I will do it every day I'm supposed to and hopefully I'll have the same results next week. Even losing 1-2 pounds a week would be wonderful. So either way, that takes me from 237.6 pounds to 234.6 pounds!!!
