I feel as though I need to make longer, really in depth updates. Maybe next week?

I told you guys I was going to keep this up! Hopefully I can still do this through these next couple of months. The weeks go by so fast, though. I feel like I typed my last entry yesterday. It's crazy. This week was pretty decent, I thought it was going to be bad, but it wasn't in the least bit. Made me very happy. (:

I had to give a presentation in Com 101 with a group of girls I was paired with. It turned out quite well and the book that we had to read and then present on, I found out, is going to be turned into a movie with Leonardo DiCaprio this year! It's based off of the book Blink by Malcolm Gladwell. SOOO excited. It should be really awesome!

I got an 87% on my first Arabic test of the semester that I didn't study for AT ALL, an A- on my first reading in speech and a B+ on my second. I'd say I'm off to a decent start. Hopefully it's all uphill from here!

I hosted a Murder Mystery Dinner with Jordyn yesterday. It went pretty well, I think we're going to do a more elaborate and bigger-scaled one coming up in April. Basically, this one was a test run for what worked, what we can do different, etc. I'm glad we did it!

I wrote this story for creative writing that I turned it for my 5 pages assignment (even though it was 8 ) and I'm so pumped about it. I can't wait to get feedback and do a more solid plot and create character depth. It was based off of this "bank heist" that me, Troy, Josh, Jordyn and Rachel were all in according to Troy. He came up with this elaborate story and I took the idea and made a spin on it. I'm really excited to hear what Chris (my prof) has to say about it. My goal is to turn it in for my portfolio!

My mom's been calling a lot lately, she got a new car! I can't wait to home and hijack it. (: Haha.

I've been trying to stay positive lately, and I think I'm doing a pretty good job! I'm really proud of myself. I have a meeting with my counselor on Tuesday for the first time since November. We have a LOT to catch up on.

I'm going to see the Vagina Monologues tonight. I'm excited!

Jordyn and I deep cleaned the dorm today. It looks and smells SO good. I'm really happy with what we did. But I have a ton of laundry to do, so I'm going to sort through that and just take it easy.
