I don't feel like doing any bolding/italisizing/underlining or anything today, so this entry is going to be pretty plain.
I can't believe tomorrow starts Spirt Week (week of homecoming). Everything seems to be flying by this year. It's nuts. Powderpuff is on Tuesday - I didn't want to play, but I wanted a shirt/to help out, so I'm working concessions for a part of the game. Powderbuff is on Thursday. It's this new boys volleyball game (essentially Powderpuff for guys), and hopefully it goes through. We may not have enough guys/participation for the game to follow through. We seriously need to make all the money we can so Class Congress can put on Prom and have a nice Senior Banquet. The Homecoming game is on Friday and then Homecoming is on Saturday! This is crazy.
We got a project for AP English this past week on archetypes and were assigned to different groups. My group was: Me, Cory, Edita and Smeralda and we were assigned the Garden archetype. I wasn't too happy about Edita & Smeralda being in the group nor was I excited about our archetype, but I got over it. We had one day to work on it in class and we just did the research and planned to meet up one or two days this weekend to write the paper and do the powerpoint presentation.
Friday Cory texted me, saying that everyone was going to meet at 7 at his house. I was the only one that showed up, so we wrote half the paper. It was actually a lot of fun ("beautiful, symmetric patterns") and we got to talk about Band-A-Rama, Solo & Ensemble and such. He wants to sing a song called "Miserable at Best" by Mayday Parade for BAR, so he played it on piano and sang it. He is really, really good. I told him he needed to audition/do whatever to play that at BAR. It would be absolutely amazing.
So, I was there from about 7-10 on Friday, I went home and passed out at 11. Saturday morning I had to wake up early to shower, get ready and go to the doctor's office. I had to get blood drawn for some usual tests. So I did that, went out to breakfast with my mom and then went shopping for homecoming stuff with Jordyn and my mom. I ended up getting this really cute black bow barrett for my hair, black earrings and some cute black high heels and these adorable moccasins. Yes, me. I got high heels. They're really comfortable, have a thick heel and I feel stable enough to wear them for pictures and dinner at least, lol.
After that, we went to my Sito's house to eat some roast and then I headed to Cory's to work on the project again — Jordyn tagged along too. (: It ended up being just us three, and Jordyn's not even in our group! She's not even in our class for crying out loud, lmao. But we had a fun time again. Jordyn distracted us, then helped us with the writing (quite a bit, actually) and we eventually finished the paper. Clark came over to Cory's to install Microsoft Office on his computer, and then I got the disc so I could install it on my computer, lol. We watched some youtube videos, talked, Clark left and Jordyn, Cory and I went in his little family room thing to wait for mine & Jordyn's ride. Cory ended up playing Miserable at Best again, but this time it was so much better because he could actually sing loud. Friday his parents were sleeping, so he couldn't sing too loud. I seriously home Kmet isn't a douche and puts Cory in BAR. The crowd would love him. We were there from 6:30-9:30 yesterday.
Eventually we got picked up and Jordyn and I came back here, ate our late dinner and watched the episode of Glee that Jordyn missed. After that, we passed out (I watched the end of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets that was on Disney Channel, lol) and it was a pretty quiet night.
I woke up at 9:45ish, and Jordyn was already up. We played a few games on the computer, ate breakfast, then she left. I cleaned my room up, took a shower and then headed to Panera to meet up with my ENTIRE group - finally - to finish the powerpoint/revise the paper. We all ate lunch, then Cory drove us to my house. It took us about an hour and a half to finish the project, and we were all content with what we did. I think we'll get a majority of the points, if not all of them. They left about 30 minutes ago and now I'm seriously avoiding my AP Physics homework. I need to get that done because I have a class congress meeting from 6:30ish - whenever. And then Desperate Housewives is on tonight! So I have to watch that, lmao.
Ugh. I better get started on the AP Physics homework... Blah. I'll update probably after homecoming or the Powderpuff/buff games.
