Smash Into You - Beyoncé
Well, I kept my promise to try and update
more than I did before, aha.
Summer is almost
over and I'm kind of really bummed about it. School starts on September 8th - senior year. I'm absolutely terrified. My schedule is intense. This is what I have first trimester:
1st Hour - Symphonic Band
2nd Hour - AP Physics
3rd Hour - Calculus
4th Hour - BST Excel/Access
5th Hour - AP English
With golf being right at the beginning of the school year and building the homecoming float for class congress during the week as well, it's just seriously going to be overwhelming to come back to. But, back to my schedule, I was missing a class in the third trimester because I wanted to take Forensics, but it's only offered 1st and 5th hour, so I can't take it because Band and AP English are during those hours. But I wanted to take a fun class in its place, so I e-mailed my counselor — who's usually a major douche — and he gave me ceramics in its place. (: I'm excited for that class.
Jill, who had it her sophomore year, told me it was a really fun class.
Anyway, I had golf yesterday and today - both being half matches/half practices. I'll explain that, don't worry, lol. The match yesterday was vs Monroe, and it wasn't a league match, so we didn't get points or anything. What happens with the
match/practice thing is that we have so many girls on the team, and we can only play 6 per match. So our coach sent out the other girls who weren't playing to practice the 9 holes we were playing for a match. Melissa and I played the 1 and 2 of our group and I shot a 46, she shot a 41. We won. (: Today we had another match, but it was a league one. I wasn't supposed to play, because I played in the one yesterday and Lindsay was going to play in my place. Her dad took her car and she
wasn't able to make it - so Coach asked me to fill in for her. I was glad to. I golfed 5 and 6 with Jill. It was fun, except the girls were really slow and not that good. It was okay though, because I shot pretty well. Jill ended up with a 41, I got a 45 and
we won the match 170ish to 212. Which is awesome.
One more thing before I go - Jordyn, Kelsey and I have our Senior Spring Break trip in the works. We are going to stay with my mom's good friend in her $500,000 condo out in Orange County, California! We are seriously beyond pumped - because 1) our living expenses are totally taken care of and 2) it's freaking CALIFORNIA. Big
big BIG difference from Michigan, lmao.
Okay, I need to go read The Odyssey for AP English before I start reading Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (for the 3rd time, lol). (:
