Working at iHop!! | 11/12/2009 |
 iHop (and the food is AMAZING!) So, i've worked at iHop for about a month now and i love it! I love the ppl i work with n my bosses are pretty much the shit (some of the time) i work every weekend tho... that kinda sucks but i guess that's what i need to do to make that money. i'd like to find a 9-5 thru the week and just work there on the weekends. and i'm really excited because i applied for low income and for some reason a place in dayton, where i used to live found an eviction that i didn't even think was on my record, i thought it was dropped, but the place here didn't find one and they are just waiting on some more papers from the bank and the job center, just verifications. so it will be about 6 months to a year before i get in there she said... BUT she said i have to pay my dp&l off UGH! When i lived with my kids dad his grandma switched all her utilities over cuz she was gonna move in with us, then she passed away, well not ONE bill came in my name and all the sudden i owe $1,180 to them!? WTF??? and i wasn't even there for the last like 3-4 months! bull shit if u ask me but might as well just pay and get it over with and out the way so i can get it. BUTTTT some even better news, there's a place called the HIT foundation (home is the foundation) and i had to take a class to be on their waiting list and the class was a requirement, and only like 35 ppl have taken it so she said i should be right in the middle of the list b/c of my app date and she said it shouldn't be more than 3-6 months for me to get in a house!!!!! i'm so super excited! wish me luck everyone!
