So maybe i should write a real entry as well
Today's been a funny old day, i decided last night just off the bat that I would go to church this morning - didn't know which one and decided eventually go to to the one I think I was christened at..so i got up and showered & just went straight there. I was a bit nervous and even wondered that the frig I was doing there, but they welcomed me in, I wanted to slink in at the back, but a lady made me go and sit with her and her friends which was nice of them xD though I was one of only about 5 people under the age of 70. There was a guy who looked about my age, maybe a little younger I don't know, but he was sat over the other side so my attempts to make eye contact were a little futile. There was an awful lot of standing/sitting/standing/sitting and singing/praying and stuff..but all in all it was ok! even though they passed round some bread and something to drink, think it must have been non-alcoholic wine or something. Then the pastor guy stopped me at the end on the way out and said he'd not seen me before (no shit.. lol) and then he made me stay and introduced me to a load of people..ahh so scary! thing is I think Ill have to work the next 2 sundays so i won't be able to go again for 2 weeks..that bites =/ anyway that gives me some time to think.
so not much else to report, working tomorrow even though it's ANOTHER bank holiday =/ but on the plus side I get time and a half so i get paid for an 8 hour day even though Im working 5hrs xD all good cuz I need money! I have to pay annabel for this laptop on payday, also need to keep putting money aside to move out and stuff. been checking out property prices in bridgend this afternoon, looks like most 2 bed houses are around £400/£500 a month, so that'll be about £200/£250 a month each, which i reckon will be ok! just a matter of time now, waiting to get my sharesave out in a month or two, also I'll need to buy a bed because I won't have one..otherwise, I got pretty much everything we would need anyway, other than a tv! so s'all good
I guess that's it! Have arranged with Bec to go and have a drink after work on Wednesday, we haven't caught up in AGES properly, she's just split with her girlfriend too =( so I hope I can be some support to her like she was to me when the same happened to me. Can't wait =) |
