Finally out of hospital

Sarah finally got discharged tonight. Doctors didn't come round til gone 4pm, and the pharmacy was shutting at 5, so it was a mad dash for a poor nurse who had to run down and get her medication before they shut so she could be discharged. She had showered this morning and put her proper clothes on, and we were both really hopeful that I could take her home, but no such luck. I went to see her anyway from 2-4, to keep her some company as she had no other visitors today. I really am an awesome girlfriend :]

I bought her a toy patchwork elephant called Elmer (from John Lewis) as she loves elephants, for a get well gift. It was a big hit and she kept texting me to say she was looking at it to keep her company, lol!

In other news, it's my birthday Thursday *spits* ...I'm working, and just seeing family/friends in the afternoon then Sarah & I are going out somewhere but I don't think either of us actually know where yet.
