Is a complex guy.
Basically, I love him as a teacher. He is awesome at teaching anything. His methods are solid and Renaissance-era, which I like. However, he is fucking hard. I studied for an hour last night and got an 85 on his quiz today. And I'm one that doesn't need to study to ace a class. So that's new.
Anyway, today he made himself more awesome by being political. He gave this huge speech about respecting the president regardless of his political views and how telling kids to stay in school doesn't equal liberal indoctrination. Sounds like your average liberal teacher, right? Nope. Hardcore Republican/Christian. And he is why I still respect a partisan democracy and religion. Because people like that actually exist.
