Just as I've predicted, I'm already quitting the picture-a-day thing. I'm a terrible picture taker. And I can't get the damn glare off of my glasses.
Aaaaanyway, today was really good! Since it was Election Day, school ran two hours late. This meant that I didn't have to go to Governor's School in the morning! And on a two hour delay schedule, that meant my first class of the day started at ONE PM. HELL YES. So, instead of getting up at 6:30 and being in a rush, I got up somewhere around 10:30 and had like an hour and a half to just mess around a read my book. Latin was mehh. APUSH didn't have Touart, so we just got to "take notes on Ch. 16" (which means "talk to your friends and be unproductive"). In French we took un petit examen, and then listened to the other class give presentations. (I'm in French IV with the French III students, so I didn't DO the project, but I still have to pay attention to their presentations.)
After school I wrote my personal reflection essay. Utter bullcrap. Then I talked about two parties over the next two weeks. Then I watched Top Chef Just Deserts from last week. I FUCKING LOVE YIGIT AND ZAC. *SPOILER ALERT* if you care...
And, though I love Team Diva for better and for worse, I'm glad that the bitch, Heather, is gone. Yigit actually cried which I found a little silly, but hey, I love 'im anyway.
*END SPOILER*
Tomorrow I have Chemistry and ITE, so it should be easy. In Latin I will probably just study APUSH like usual, but I still have to do this stupid quiz on Roman architecture and culture and other crap I don't care about. Give me some lively, current French culture and I'll eat it up. But talk about roads and columns built in the BCEs, and I'm ready to take a nap. APUSH is just a quiz and some preparations for our unit test Thursday. French...I don't even know. That class is SO easy. I don't think I've had homework once. Then we have Math SCAEL practice. Ridiculous, since we have a match Thursday...but whatever. That still means I get to see Nathan. *creeper/crusher*
I'm currently reading The Scarlet Letter for English. I wish I hadn't put it off to the last week, but seriously, what's a guy to do? Since I have SO many classes all at the same time, I HAVE to do the work that is due soonest, first. Otherwise I'll fail one class just for being prepared for another. And, in honesty, English isn't my biggest concern anyway.
I'm liking NoJoMo. Left to my own devices, I only write when I'm upset. You wouldn't have heard anything about this nice day without this motivation. |
