I was hoping for a peaceful night tonight but it does not look like that will happen.

Yesterday would have been my GranGran's 90th. I still shed tears sometimes for missing that glorious man.

Mike and I had a great weekend. Did I tell y'all he got a new car?



2002 Chrysler Sebring Convertible. His is a bit lighter shade than this but has the blue leather interior and dark top.

It is fun to ride in... we will "ride" in the backseat soon I hope.


Anyway we got away for the weekend. Hotel room, fancy food and good sex. It was nice.

I have been reading up a storm lately so if any of you guys have book suggestions I am opened

I have read the complete House of night series, Night world series, Sookie stackhouse series (think true blood)

I borrowed a cheap romance novel from my friend at work today just because I need to get to a book store..

I think that is all for now.

I have the night world series but haven't read it. what is the sookie stackhouse series about? Never even heard of them. I'm right behind on the reading, although lately my mind has been scattered so I have been knitting instead, and have done enough of the afghan to notice the booboo's *sigh* I have loads of fave authors...
