even small victories feel good

My bank just agreed to return $90 in overdraft fees where Direct TV had taken out a $107 payment with out authroization and returned it.

I had to talk to Direct TV EVERY FRIGGIN DAY for a week but I finally badgered them enough that they returned the payment to my account and the bank agreed to return those funds.

oh,

and at what age do you reaveal all the mystical creatures and personas of childhood are...less than real?

James just said he was going to go to school in just his underwear. I said "James that leaves you all but naked." He said "Mom my BUTT is not naked, I have on underwear!"

God I love that Kid!

as for the revelations....I say follow your kid's lead. Matt and Molly still believe in Santa and they are 10/11. They did have a discussion over the weekend about the Valentine Fairy not being real..that it's Mom, (molly revealed that to Matt) but then he asked, "so what about the Tooth Fairy?" Molly came back with, "It's Dwayne Johnson!" LOL
Whenever they ask, I reply with , "well, what do YOU think" and find out where they are in that process. but I think they are old enough now that if they come right out and insist I tell them ...they are old enough!
