I am getting over the double ear infection, sinus infection and bronchitis I acquired at the end of the month. I just found out when the new company takes over I have been offered a part time position of 30 hours a week and no benefits.
but
many of my co workers got worse deals, no job or 20 hours only
one whole department was offered only 20 hours.
they keep telling us that they are not going to operate the same way, but volume is volume and calls are calls i do not see how it will change that much
because i have two bachelors degrees i dont think that i will be able to collect unemployment and get paid to go to school.
sigh..
so that is what is going on with me, that and the foot of snow that has fallen over the last day or so.
James turns 10 next Sunday. I cant believe it. I have to get to work on his birthday poem

aww.. the job thing reaally sucks. its wrong to remove someone's rights in such a big way. omg James is nearly 10! for some reason, after 10 Harley's childhood years went like a blur. Enjoy him, nest thing you know he will be a hairy man with an unsuitable boyfriend. .
Awww shithouse about the job... I mean it's good you will be able to maintain those hours instead of less or none, but still... sucks that there are no benefits. Are you going to look elsewhere or stick with it?
