strike so, i'm feeling the need to vent again. my sister came and stayed the night before last with her whole brood and new boyfriend. I guess he is. He's been a friend for awhile and has partied with us before though i don't know him that well. So they made the usual mess and left early the next morning while we were working. Her kids can do some major damage in a short period of time. To top it all off her oldest son was sick. great!! Jeff wasn't feeling to hot last night and i haven't felt to hot today. We had the longest, most frustrating day at work too. I was a bit pissed because we had all this stuff to do and Jeff asked buck to do one thing and he couldn't cause he had a lot to do. he's doing the same damn thing he's been doing...putting in fans. in houses that don't have birds yet and what we asked of him would have took 10 minutes at the most. we had to hang 548 of these water things. we had to raise and adjust the other water lines since they wouldn't have the water bells we hung. we had to raise the stoves, walk the birds, pick up the dead, till the shavings in one house, and put all these little screw things on feed pans. all he had to do was hang 4 fans. i didn't include in our list of stuff above the thing we asked of him so yeah. and jess? hell she hasnt' been there in two days. sorry she was there long enough to walk with the service man yesteray and she left so what...45 minutes? when does she work? that's basically what bucks been grumpy about and i don't blame him. then when she is there doing something she makes all these snide comments in front of us about how she did this or that "but she doesn't work". they aren't aimed at us but because that's what buck says. i'm still like...what are you doing compared to what we're doing? are you bending over lifting 548 drinkers that each weigh about 20 lbs? are you bending over fixing this or that? are you lifting up the 50 lb. feed buckets and combining them so we can get them out of there? did you put up any of the curtains? did you pick up a pitch fork and shovel one flake of the shavings? did you dump birds? NO!! nope, nada, zilch, zero. does she walk the birds in the evening? newp. shit, she can't even feed her own freaking dogs and horses. she's hurt. she can't do it. she first had a hernia that evolved into a "we don't know what's wrong" to something to do with her groin muscle. funny how she seems okey dokey. i don't know. personally if it were my dogs and i couldn't lift the bucket with food i wouldn't. but i would just get the measured amount which is about 2 cups per dog and feed them individually. i would break apart the bale of hay and chuck some a little at a time over the fence. she can't lift this or or that but she can pick up the 20 lb. puppies and such. jeff is so overly tired of it it's not funny. but he won't say anything to her about it. if she does ask he still won't say anything. he's too nice. so basically here's how our evening goes. we get off work. he runs to his mom's to split some wood so we can have gas, drinks and what-not for the next day...sometimes even if we have money he does it because they are his parents and they are older and can't do it as good as they used to and being as they rely on that money a lot it helps them out. but they are his parents...jess is just a boss. then he has to make sure he can get back here while it's still daylight so he can feed her dogs then get down to the turkey's to check them before it's dark. so i don't usually get to spend anytime with him until around 8 pm. we have the worse time trying to plan any type of evening activities. she eats out just about every evening...at applebee's. in any case if she's not eating out she's not home in the evenings period for the most part. oh and today the water works guys came to replace the filters and uv light in the water softner thingy. we got about 10 minutes notice and that was it. we didn't even know the guy who came to check the furnace was here until we came home for lunch. not a very pleasant way to come home finding someone in your home uninvited. this time she had to tell us because now...we lock the doors. -smiles- but still, i would like maybe a day's notice so that i can clean up a bit the night before. not ten minutes before they get here. plus i like being here when people come. it's not that i have anything of any worth to steal but you never know. jeff has his guns and in the case of the furnace guy...my wallet with my current payroll was laying on the dining room table. that was about 800 dollars. yeah, i wasn't too happy about that. so yeah, place stays locked. i might even change the locks in case she has a set of keys...i don't know. they were changed just before we moved in and this we know because it was jeff and buck who did it but who's to say she didn't make a copy being as she did have the keys for a bit before we moved in. i don't know. i just don't know anymore. i get random thoughts in my head to why she does things and such but at times they seem silly and at other they seem a good possibility. she's a weird person who seems to kiss my ass for some reason. maybe she know's that if i'm not happy nobody will be? that if i choose to not want to stay here we won't stay here?Maybe she realizes that jeff will move if i'm not happy because that's the type of person he is? maybe she's just jealous of that? believe me...i love the place and all but sometimes the "favors" get to be a bit much. she always points out how jeff seems happy here and says things like "i bet he's a whole new man here". well...he is. just...not mine anymore. but..she better learn fast. i don't share.
