Yesterday was kind of a mix of good and bleh. The bleh...nasty weather which made me just depressed and not want to do anything....jeff wasn't feeling well so he didn't want to do anything...Dad brought me a birthday card with money which was good but my mom couldn't come because she has pnuemonia. bleh. But Jeff gave me some money to get something for my birthday. He was gonna stop and get me a gift card to a bookstore but he says he figures I will change my mind and not really want that (it's what I asked for) but I didn't. I still want my books. But it was so nasty I didn't want to go. I didn't have anything to read last night before bed and it's seriously like an addiction withdrawal. lol. Anyways, I ended up with about $100 in cash between Jeff, Dad, and my Grandmother. My mother-n-law sent me a shower-gel type gift set which was nice. It's the first time in 12 years she sent me a birthday gift lol. Maybe she finally figured out I'm not going anywhere? Who knows. My friend Kelley bought me a printer! It's weird cause I've been wanting one and apparently her and Jeff conspired to get me one. When he handed me the money earlier that evening before I saw her he said that it was for the books if I still wanted and Tuesday when he got paid he would by me the bookshelf I want. I said well instead of that how about a printer? I don't really know where I would put the bookshelf but then I didn't know so I would think about it. Then I had said something about being able to get some books and a printer with the money he gave me and I was headed to town. But I went to 7-11 first and had to come back home and decided I wasn't going all the way to town on such a nasty day. Later Kelley gave me the printer and I was like OMG lol. I was that close to buying one. But I did go buy a cheap computer desk at family dollar so that I had a place to put both things. It was only 20 bucks and I'm not to entirely pleased with it but it works. So I had fun putting the desk together and hooking up the printer. We slept in this morning because Jeff didn't have to work. I got up long enough to get the kids off to school and then back to sleep. Jeff is still sleeping. Here in a bit the girl I watch will be here. We have tons of cleaning to do because it's still raining and my surprise birthday cookout is this evening which means everyone will be inside for the most part. I don't know if it's suppose to let up but we still have a lake in the back yard. I'll take a pic and post it. Gotta go for now. Ciao!
