wow, what a weekend. so saturday i got up early and finished my cleaning and then started the ham. actually lets back up to friday night first. jeff calls me around 6 pm and tells me the car is broke down. he stopped at a store and got me a hanging flower basket for easter and when he went to leave the car wouldn't start just made weird noises. he said he thinks the timing belt went out. he hoped cause if it wasn't that then it was the crank or camshaft which means basically we need a new motor or car cause that isn't worth fixing. they towed it back to his parents where he could look at it. it was the timing belt. but seeing as it was almost dark he couln't fix it then. his dad brought him home and they stopped on the way to get the part needed. i was like uh when are you gonna fix it? he said the next morning. i was like we have a easter supper and birthday to deal with and i doubt your gonna get it done in time. i wanted him to go afterwards cause i figured there was more time and we wouldn't be too late to see LED. no, he wanted to go that morning. ugh, i hate that piece of shit car!!! always have. so, the next morning he finally got someone to come get him around 9. i was like thinking he would try for earlier but nah, nobody could. so then i assumed if he couldn't get it done on time that he would start it, come home for the supper/birthday, then go finish working on it. he was like yeah right. wasn't nobody gonna drive him back and then come pick him up. all in all...he missed easter. i was PISSED!! i spent the entire time trying not to cry, trying to act like everything was alright and that i was having a great time. can't be a pissed off, broken down host now can i. but when he called we had harsh words. he pretty much called me a selfish bitch cause he was down there trying to fix it so i could go see LED and i said that if he thought for a minute that i would take seeing LED over spending time with my family he was so incredibibly out of tune with who i was. but i told him it was alright, i was spending easter with my family and hung the phone up on him. basically he had called to tell me the car wasn't gonna get fixed. he already put the part in but it was still not working and they got the book on the car and it says basically if it breaks not to bother replacing it. psh. piece of shit i said. so around 5 his mom calls and asks if he made it home. i was like, uh, no. haven't seen him. well she had left and was gone like 30 minutes and when she got back she was gone. i was like he fixed the car? she then told me no. the junkyard guy was gonna buy it for a hundred which he gave to his brothers girlfriend for this little blue car she had. now i am confused. well he comes home with the car and i absolutely love it. only bad thing is the drivers side is smashed in from an accident but we know where to get the parts in matching colors so it's all good. but everything is nice....the paint job, the interior....everything. I just can't believed he got it that fast...never has he been able to junk a car and return with one lol. so we got ready for the pub and had an incredible time there. there's alot i don't recall....mainly small details like how much i had to drink. i swear i only had 4 jello shooters and jeff swears he bought more than that. i also had 4- 22 oz miller lites and a shot of jager. i was good to go. the band rocked, the friends rocked, the night rocked. the morning sucked ass. we got home around 2:30 am... i went straight to bed, jeff stayed up for awhile apparently online. then he woke me up for some....ahem...more fun? lmao. it was then 4:30 and i remembered we had to make up easter baskets and hide eggs. omg i was sooo drunk. i basically directed jeff in how to do it lol. then back to bed till around 8 am when the kids woke us. it was an extremely lazy day but it was pretty decent as long as i didn't move too much or too fast. lol. now i have to get the kids ready for school. i'm so glad, they've been off for a week and a half and driving me nuts lol. then i have to clean up the aftermath of the weekend. yay me. heh i'll probably go back to sleep as soon as jeff leaves for work lol. g' night~
