♥Chocolate Covered Cherries!!♥
Yup, my son, Aaron gave me a box of cherries for Christmas - 40 cherries! He knew exactly what I would like.
Oh my goodness but I am craving some Chinese food. I have been for a few days now. Not that I'm going to get it any time soon, but, I thought I would just put it out there.
Kev and I went shopping for presents for my two nephews and my niece last night - my brother told us that the kids wouldn't be getting any presents this year, because he and his girlfriend are struggling financially (but they can afford to buy weed and get baked - go figure) so, Kev and I felt bad for the kids, and went and got them some presents.
I will have to say that I didn't know that shopping for a 12 year old girl would be so damned hard! Kev and I disagreed on what to get Natasha - he picked out a walkman that she can wear on her arm and he got batteries with it. I picked out a pair of purple & pink fluffy toe socks (because she likes that sort of thing) and some body lotions with matching body sprays. I would have gotten some perfume, but my brother said 'absolutely NO make-up'.
We dropped the presents off last night. I thought I was going to cry when Natasha acted like the simple little gifts that we gave her were priceless jewels.
Well, we are going to watch Shrek The Halls and then I am going to go to bed and read.
I hope you all have a good holiday - if I don't manage to get on tomorrow. Which, I might actually be able to, because Kev has to work all day tomorrow and into the evening.
