164. Tattoo

Jonathan
On my eighteenth birthday
I went with my best friend J
We had a plan
I was going to turn into a man
We hopped into my old man’s silver stingray
Blasted the music and we were on our way
We beeped and whistled at any pretty girl
Being eighteen, it feels like a different world
Flying down the highway
I’m going to do this my way
Pulling up to the tattoo parlor
I see Stephanie and Tammy, and Carla
They are coming out
Sporting new tattoos no doubt
I know exactly what I want to get
It’s no secret
It is something that means a lot to me
It’s not an animal or a name or anything wacky
I am going to get thirty four in a block number
The lining will be black with red color
The number will be within a baseball
The stitches of it will be a pain, that’s all
I’m going to put it on my right arm
It will be my lifetime charm |
