OK, i'm home.

Oh... you want to hear about the date? wellll, ok.

I showered and shaved, made sure I put on some after shave. I got dressed up, wearing dress pants and a colared shirt. I looked nice.

John picked me up about 6;45. Being the best friend he is, he made fun of what I was wearing. First he goes "did your mother tell you what color you are wearing" I told him that I knew. "what are you doing wearing pants. you should be wearing jeans. and I've told you, you are not supose to wear your shirt tucked in. You look like a dork."
(and I think it looks nice, but what ever)

Leigh called me about 6:30 to let me know she was on the way. I told her that she may be there before me. She asked about the reservations. I told her that they dont take them on friday and saturday but I could call and put my name in. I said to her well, since you are going to get there before me, why dont you put your name in when you get there. She said that she can do that.She called me two more times before I got there. The last time I was pulling into the parking lot. She called to tell me the vibrator went off. (I cant think of that word without it being dirty lol) John walked me up to the front stairs. He says "sorry we were late, I let him drive." she laughed. I gave her a hug. yep, my type of lady, short, thin with hair past her shoulders. We walked in and sat in the waiting area for about 3 minutes. I said 'are you nervice?" "no, I dont get nervice" "what? well, fine, I am" I laughed and then the nerves kinda went away. For the rest of the time I felt strangely comfortable.

We went to the table where it was quiet. I was a bit worried as I was walking past the front section where there was a dj with lud music but then we kept walking.

I ordered an ice tea and she got a drink. She was reading me the drink menu.
And you know, things like that, she was reading a sign on the wall. She is a very observant person and I guess it's just who she is to say things out loud which works for me.

After looking over the menu a few times, and saying that she was going to change it up, she got lobster mac and cheese, the same thing she got the last few times. I got a stake. When I ordered I forgot to ask for no mushrums. I told her that I dont like mushrums. She told me her sister tells her children that she is alergic to mushrums but really she doesnt like them. Her children like them though. So when my stake came, I asked her if there was mushrums on it and she said yes, I can take them off for you if you want. I said, can you please? So she did.

hmm what did we talk about.
Since she did most of the talking on the phone, she let me talk. I mentioned something about how she wasnt talking much and she goes "ya, I know. I am going to not talk as much." so she asked me about where I grew up and she knew someone from saugus but it wasnt anyone I knew. She asked me where I went to college. I told her where I got each of my degrees. She said "ya, I only got one"I asked her how is she teaching with out a teacher's degree (she has a degree in psychology) She said that pre school is different from elementry school. You just need to have spacific classes to be able to teach pre school.
I told her how I want to work at a school but unless I am a 3rd party contract, I need to pass the teacher's exam if I want to work in a school and I did bad on the SAT so I know I would never pass the teacher's degree.
I told her about some of my past clients.
I eventually did bring up baseball. I said to her, "have you ever seen fever pitch? (yes, I love drew berimore) ya, that's me. I told her I go to about 10-15 games a year. I also have done some traveling. Told her about some of the stadiums I've been to. She has never been to a lot of the places that I have.

I showed her my red sox world series ring "yep, I saw it. It's on the perfect finger to show new york." (It's on my middle finger of my left hand) I never thought of that! (we were both laughing over that) told her that I got it instead of my graduation ring to which I got a "nice"

She told me some stories about her little students. one story was that at the end of the school day, this little boy put his jacket on and zippered it himself. So he went to to and said "ms leigh! I zippered my jacket" and other cute stories like that. She said she is glad it's the weekend but when monday comes, she is glad she is going to be getting her coteacher back who been out for a few weeks with a broken foot.

The check came, it was 47 dollars. I paid for it.
We got up to leave, I put my jacket on and zippered up, and said to her "ms leigh, I zippered my jacket" she laughed.

We walked to her car. I was joking, asked if she had heated seats. she said no. I said something like being a teacher doesnt get things like that. She said no, but when I get a better paying position, I will.

We got in, she was flipping through the radeo while the car heated up. We made some small talk, mostly just listened to the music. She did play some country, ug, lol.

We got to the theater. We were an hour early. We went in and got tickets. I paid for the tickets too. Our screen was right outside of the arcade so we sat in the arcade room. She was reading me some of games they had there. We talked about attari games. She excused her self to use the lady room. It was a good time to pop a mint.

She came back and goes "boo" I smiled.
Something I thought a bit strange. A guy comes over to us and says "hey, what movie are you guys seeing?" took Leigh off guard and she stumbled "no strings attached" he goes, ah, great movie you will enjoy it. My name is Jim and this is my place. I put my hand out and shook his hand. nice to meet you.
So, strange at first and ended up being very nice of him.

We went into the movies and sat down. Soon after, she said she was going to go get a soda and candy, asked if I wanted anything. I said no thanks, I'm all set. So she squeezed past me. She came back a few minutes later. She squeezed past me again. She could have very easily have sat on my other side but she had to squeeze past me. I'm sure I'm reading too much into that. I said "hey there are a few guys down front. I'm not the only guy here." she laughed and said "there is another guy at the end of our row too" So until the movie started, we pointed out the other guys as they came.

On the screen, there was some travia facts about famous people. She said that "justin bever's b day is (month-day) 1994. I laughed and said "I got cds older than that." she laughed and said she did too.

So she came back with a soda and twisslers. As she was opening them she asked if I would like one. I said yes please. She handed me one. Then without a word, when ever she would take one out for herself, she would take one out for me and put it in my hand. no words.

The movie opened with the song "I want to sex you up" by CMB. I said to Leigh, this song is older than Justin bever. she laughed.

The movie was really good. it was extremely sexual and funny. We laughed at least once in every scene. .

I wont say much more about the movie but she did tell me what was going on a few times. (not during the sex scenes, I could um, hear what was going on lmao) and that was nice.
In one scene a guy asks a girl out. The girl accepts but says no flowers, he says, ok, no flowers. I look at leigh and said "but not no chocolate" she responded with "mmm chocolate" hehe

So the movie ended and we got up, she moved pass me so she could lead the way. I held onto her left arm with my left hand, and I was tapping on her upper back with my fingers on my right hand to some song in my head. she giggled.

We got to her car and we headed to my home, stopped for gas first. We went over a pothole and I threw my arms up and went "weee!" she laughed. We talked about disney world. She have never been and I went a few times. She said she wanted to go last year but it was too expensive for her.

We got a little lost in my area but we found our way to my street.
She get out and we walked to my door. We hugged and we both said we had a good time. I told her I would call her, she said "sounds good"

we said good night and I went into the house.

I got a call at 12;30 from John asking me how the date went. I told him a little about it. He goes "did she kiss you on the cheek?" (when we were parting) I said no. he said, not a good sign Jonathan. I dont think there'll be a second date.

I hope there will be.
and a third and a forth.
