So this is my first entry here on Bloop Diary. Trying this place out since my old site for my diary (Open Diary) is closing down  Don't know how often I'll write here but I'll try to write as often as I can.
I suppose some basic info is in order. So here ya go.
My name is Missy and I'm 32 yrs old (though my birthday is next month). I live in Rhode Island where I was born. Sometimes I say it's boring here, but really it's a cool little state.
I'm currently unemployed (not by choice trust me) and living at home with my parents and my younger brother. I'm also bisexual, though I am single at the moment.
My very first diary was on OD I think back in 1999 or 2000. Maybe 2001, I can't remember for sure. I had my diary for a while and I deleted it. Then in about October 2005 I came BACK to OD. At first I started that diary as a place to post my Harry Potter Fan Fiction and other writings. But soon I realized that I wanted to write stuff other than just that there. Thus began my journey of keeping my diary chronicling everything from my happiest moments to some of my saddest and everything in between.
And through it I have met some truly amazing people. But sadly OD's time on the interwebs is soon to come to a close and so I must find a new home. Thus I have here hoping that maybe I'll be at home. *fingers crossed*
Anway, there are quite the cast of characters that will more than likely get brought up here. As well as many fandom topics. First my cast of characters that I call friends. 
Mary and Joe ( These two come together as a set! lol): Two of my dearest friends. I met Mary in pre-school actually, though neither of us new that until high school! Haha. And she met Joe in college and they've been inseparable since. They were married in April, 2007. And are now the proud parents of two awesome kids, their daughter Elizabeth, and their newest little one born in June of last year, Joey.
Brenda: My best friend in the world. We met in high school when she was a freshman and I was junior. We have been inseparable ever since. We are as close as two peas in a pod. She is truly my best friend.
Courtney (aka Moose): One of my best friends since 7th grade. Though she now lives in Florida, we still talk on the phone as often as possible and she comes up for visits when she can. Hopefully she will be coming home this coming Fall for her sisters wedding and I will get to see her then.
Courtney (Bren's sister): I talk a fair amount about her (both good and bad haha) and her two boys, Bren's nephews, Alex and Zac.
Alex: Courtney oldest child, he is 9 yrs old now (dear LORD where did the time go!). He is so full of energy and spirit. Always with a smile on his face and imaginative tale to tell. He loves to talk that's for sure! Especially about his favorite game, Minecraft.
Zac: Courtney's youngest at almost 6 yrs old now. Zac is also autistic. He is one of the happiest kids you will ever meet. The most amazing thing, he's taught himself to read! He's up to a I believe a 4th grade reading level now. Absolutely amazing! He is so bright. A truly spirited child if you ever met one.
Izzy and Erin: (Another pair that comes as a set!) Izzy is Bren's older brother, and Erin is his wife of nearly 7 yrs now. They have two beautiful little girls, Arely and Kaley.
Kellee: Another of my really good friends, I met her online 17 yrs ago (Yikes! Has it REALLY been THAT long??? wow) in a Hanson chat room that she got dragged into. From there we talked almost everyday both online and eventually on the phone and through letters in the mail. She has been a real friend through a lot of crap in my life. As well as some stuff that's gone on in hers. She really is a great person though. And I love her dearly.
Sean: My younger brother. He is Special Needs (he has Fragile X Syndrome). And a pain (lol). Seriously though he is a great person. Of course he can be a pain (what sibling ISN'T??? lol) But on the whole he's great. He does really well considering. My love of the Boston Red Sox is only rivaled by his. He is quite the fan. And of the New England Patriots.
Other topics that I talk about a fair bit include my love of music. And not just Hanson (though lately I've been talk a lot about them but *shrugs). I have a true passion for music. It truly moves me in a way that nothing else can. One day I want very badly to learn how to play guitar. It's been something I've wanted since I was young.
I'll also probably talk a lot about my favorite fandoms. Including Sherlock and Bones. Also my all consuming crush on David Boreanaz. MMMMM 
I'm also a writer. Not of just this diary. But a true writer. I write fiction mostly and some poetry. It's not what I am, it's who I am. It's how I express myself best and a true outlet for my feelings and imagination.
So that's me in short. I'm sure there is more to learn as I go along. And hopefully you'll come along with me as I go. I hope you enjoyed this little entry. I'm sure I'll be adding more as the years go by.
