I haven't had a best friend... ever? I don't trust anybody enough to share with them and allow myself to get close.

One day you'll find yourself able to open up to someone. Having a best friend is great.

on the contrary...I don't have a real best friend. My only in real life friend is someone that I only see by accident every few months and we get together maybe once every couple years. It's not really a big deal for me. I like being alone.

Maybe you do too? No shame or sadness in that. Look at me, I turned out fine. Some might debate that, but I stand behind my statement.
