I don't like you, and I know you won't get us a Christmas gift. But we have to get you a gift, so I'm getting you a gift card for a charity website. The only way to spend it is to donate it to a charity you choose. That way, I'm not wasting money on something you won't even appreciate. And I know you'll love it, because you'll get to feel superior about how charitable you are.
