Ring

Typically, I'm not a snobby person, but I would be upset too if I hated my engagement ring.

i wouldnt tell him, i didnt get an engagement ring i wanted... andi showed him he didnt want me topick it out he wanted to do it which was special to me i didnt want a diamond cuz i hated diamonds... i like simple stuff or saphire i wouldnt tell him, u dont have to wear it after ur married, or tell him u want a bridal set which u get to choose ur "new engagement ring"?

just make up for it with the wedding rings! you'll have a say in what those will look like. don't tell your fiance about it, it'll hurt him so much. that's something that guys feel like is their job and it'll hurt his feelings knowing you don't like it.

I almost had the same problem. Luckily I convinced him to let me go with him and didnt, but I know how you feel, and it's not selfish

hey, it's the thought that counts.. and btw.. guys are suppose to spend at least 1/3 of their salary on an engagement ring, on the wedding ring it's 2/3..

You are not alone, my dear. My husband bought my engagement & wedding ring as a set, which he presented to me on Christmas day. I was so happy that he was finally ready to take the next step in asking me to marry him, however I was very unhappy with the rings he chose for me. It's better to talk to him about it ASAP, if they really aren't what you wanted. It isn't selfish. Trust me, hon. It will be better for you both in the long run. -True
