Christmas was a hit this year - well isn't it every year??
We had a great time getting to see Family and enjoying everyone's company.
Wednesday the 22nd we had to go out to Chris' parents house and do our "pre-Christmas" with his exteneded family that was in from out of town. Chris' brother made homemade Vodka sauce with whole wheat pasta. It was amazing!!! Then we did the gift exchange. See Chris' extended family was celebrating with dinner on Friday the 24th but we were going to be out of town at my dads.
Cam was loaded up on all kinds of toys!!
I was off work on the 23rd so I send Cam to the sitters and cleaned the house from top to bottom and cleaned out old toys and took them to Goodwill.
Friday the 24th we went to my dad's house in Ashland (just on the outskirts of Richmond). We had a lovely time - Dad and my step-mom gave Chris and I $150.00 cash, They got Cam a Buzz Lightyear action figure, Toy Story 3, Play-Doh set, Monster Truck, Magna Doodle, and a corvette rc car. We then had Pizza, watched Toy Story 3 and headed back to Charlottesville.
Saturday the 25th - CHRISTMAS!!! Cam awoke around 8:15ish and we took him down to open his gifts. He was in awe - I guess it's a lot for a 2 year old to take in. After opening gifts we got ready and headed out to Chris' Grandaddy's house in Barboursville (a little town outside of Charlottesville). We had breakfast - like we do every year. They are big on fried oysters (YUCKKK)!! Cam made $10 and Chris and I made off with $20. After Grandaddy's we went to Chris' parents and opened our gifts, I got a new Victoria Secret Bra, Very Sexy for her set, Photo Paper, and Chris and I got 2 movie tix, a $25 Target gift card, and a $25 Old Navy gift card. Cam got some books, and 2 very large Tonka trucks, and of course they give him a Hallmark Ornimate each year - this year he got 2. One with a #2 and a Mickey Mouse one. Afterwards we went to my mom's - loaded up on some junk food and presents. It started snowing while we were there. Then we went to my Grandma's and head home. It was a very very very busy Christmas.
Sunday - Chris and I went to Red Lobster for lunch with his parents and brother. Then they took Cam for a while and we went to Target and bought a new vacuum- we needed that badly!!! CAme back home took down our decorations and relaxed until Cam came back home.
