Whew. So, now for the not-so-happy part. Today, as some of you probably know since you all rock, was Purple-for-LGBT day (or what have you in naming). I was all excited to participate, and I got out my purple v-neck for a double-dose of mega-gay awesome. HOWEVER.



"Brittoknee" unfriended Cory after that last post.

You'd think people would at least tolerate something to prevent suicide, but no, these little bastards hate "those damned queers" as one eloquent classmate said. Jesus goddamn Christ. I can't wait to move away.

PS: I loved the Christians that specifically apologized for someone being that ignorant, even if they obviously had nothing to do with it. It really brightened my day.

i have a friend who is so anti gay i posted soemthing related to that and he was so mean towards them like :oh booo hoo they died big whoopie doo - gay are stupid" pretty much the gyst,s i gotten ALOT of comments against him all mad at him and so on... then he removed his comment and yeah sadly one of the reasons why i cannot be his friend anymore cuz my best friend is gay getting amrried and i have another lesbain married couple... and hes so against it because of ONE girl he couldnt get along with and she happened to be gay, an ex roommate and it is my bestfriend's finacee...

SO, he refused to stop being disrespectful about it...

Golly gosh. How do you manage to know such idiots? Or is this attitude common in the US? I didn't wear purple on that day, because it wouldn't mean anything where I live, but loads of my American friends on LJ wore purple.
