4.5 days? wtf?
So, this picture above is a map I made based on the books I read by Raymod E. Feist. I made it based on another that I saw but was copyrighted. It took me around 6 hours or so to make it and boy, it was difficult. I kept looking at the other guys and yeah, wow. But I love it! This map and several others are located in the first few pages of the books. I love books with maps lol. I do seriously though and I refer to them a lot when I'm reading so I understand where a character is heading and so forth. Anyways, earlier I received a comment about how 81 books would be too much for this person to read in a year. To me it doesn't sound like much at all. So I decided to figure approximately how many days you have to allow yourself to read one book in order to make the goal. 4 and 1/2 days!! Holy moly. I absolutely love to read more than most anything else I can do. But even for me that's cutting it close. Mainly because I have so many other things to do. Sure, if I could sit on my ass and do nothing but read I could do it with no problem...hell, maybe more. But with kids, hubby, homework, domestic chores, and whatever else...I don't know. I was so optimistic til I came up with the figure. Some of my books are huge...like between 700-800 pages or so. How the hell am I gonna read that in 4.5 days? I don't know if I could do it even if I could sit on my ass all day. Oh boy, this is gonna be fun. Geez, I love a challenge. lol :]

i didn't think i'd make the challenge even before you told me it's 4.5 days. i've been known to read some books in one to two days. but yeah i didn't do much else. i'd take breaks to pee or eat or watch a little tv and depending when it was i may or may not take brodie outside. but yeah all i pretty much did was curl up and read. just think... next year... it'll be 100 books. haha. it's all for fun, though so i'm not stressing over it. especially since i still haven't read anymore of the book i was reading lol. i've been sleeping a lot again only this time, without the vicodin. i'm just sooo tired. dunno why. anyway! i plan on spending my new years eve holding a book and starting it when the clock rolls over to midnight to start the 101010 challenege lol. unless i end up getting a life by then and actually have plans. we'll see lol.
