I've had a couple of private notes asking about being little and pet play and what they are.
I can't give you a text book explanation. Although there are many simularities, it really is different for everyone.
I can only give you my understanding of both things. If you want better explanations you will need to look them up yourself.
What a “little” is:
“An adult, (ie, aged 18 or over), who identifies, acts. and/or plays in some way that is child like, (ie, under the age of 18). “
That's a snippet from an online artice that I linked in my previous entry. Now, obviously not all of us are over 18, as I'm 16 but that's the basic definition of what a little is.
For some, it is just age play. They enjoy regressing to a certain age (anywhere from a newborn baby to teens) during a scene (could be sexual, might not be) and the returning to their natural age once that scene is over.
For others it is more than that. For them, mentally it is how they feel all the time, and for them the age play is actually having to act their own age to function in the real world.
For the latter, some of them will “grow up” before engaging in sexual activities with their partner, others will stay in their little state.
In my understanding, most littles are also in a D/s relationship, with the little being the little boy or little girl in the relationship and the dominant being the mummy or daddy.
What a pet is:
Well, really that one is pretty self explanitory. It's a person that is kept like a pet by their dominant.
Some will take on an animal role, common ones are dogs, cats, and horses though people take on all sorts. Some are just human, some may be human with some animal tendancies.
Those are VERY basic explanations, and I've written them from MY understanding. It is very possible that I've gotten some things wrong.
Anyway, now I've got that out of the way I will get on with a proper entry.
