I drove to Winston-Salem yesterday to attend a race at my favorite short track. It's midsummer, there are only three racing weekends left in the season there, and tempers are getting short. Still, watching those two racers face off in the infield was surreal! When watching the video keep in mind this track is constructed around a regulation football field so it's as narrow, tight, and flat as it looks:
It's a shame the track is so far away, I love the racing but it's about 175 miles each way and I'm lucky to be home by 2am after the racing is finished.
