So I left you guys in a bit of a spot with my last entry. So on Sunday night, me and Chris had a huge fight. I just told him I was sick of being the girl he was shacked up with and he needed to make choice. I told him that our five year aniversary was coming up and if I wasn't good enough to marry then I wasn't going to stay. Basically I was leaving him if he didn't want to marry me. I didn't want to be like that but I really didn't have a choice. I'm sick of living like this. So. He just sat on the couch saying I don't want you to leave me, I don't want you to leave me. Then he left. He came back and acted like nothing had happened. So, I asked him if we were still going to go on the trip we were planning on our aniversary and if so I needed his credit card. He said you can't use it, it's maxed out. I knew that was a lie, but I didn't say anything. The next day, Monday, he said he was going out. I said okay. He came back and came up to me and said close your eyes and hold out your hand. I did what he said. He slid the ring on my finger and I opened my eyes and started crying. I said what does this mean? He said you know. I said no I don't. He said I know what the answer will be. I said you still have to ask me. He said Will you marry me? I said maybe. And that my folks, is how it went down. He decided he wanted an outside wedding and it will be in May 2010. That's all we have decided on as of yet. I will have 7 bridesmaids !!! LOL

you told him maybe. haha. that's great. that ring is pretty. and i am so freaking excited for you. i wish he had asked you on his own without the argument, but at least you're engaged and know that your relationship is headed in a great direction with a future. i don't blame you for being mad about shacking up and not having a plan for a future. 5 years is a long time and i've always thought that if you know within the first 2 years of being with someone whether or not you want to marry them.
