Wisdom of elder and new curiosity of child
"It's
never easy to understand
why memories
hold our hand,
but people let
go."
Seriously, if I hear about
1 more centimeter of snow I
will scream.
F'realz this is enough. I had school today.
Boring, I know.
I'm planning on getting my
first tattoo
SOON!! Which is exciting to me! :) I plan on getting a
Phoenix with this quote about the Phoenix surrounding it. It's gonna
hurt bad but ehh,
pain is love.
I'm
obsessed with the Phoenix. I wrote a really good poem about a Phoenix. I'll include it at the
end. I wrote the poem and want to get a Phoenix tattooed on me
because at this point in my
life I feel like a Phoenix. I've been
burned...and burned
bad, and now it is time for me to
rise up from the ashes and spread my
wings again. I may be
young, but I feel like I'm
wise. I've been through a lot in the
eighteen years I've been alive. I feel like I can be compared to a
Phoenix. Because a
"brand new" Phoenix is mentally
wise, but physically, the Phoenix is
young. This is how I feel. I'm still
young and
curious, but from my
previous experiences, I've gained crucial
wisdom. :)
"Burned into rebirth with flame and smoke
Hold my breath; I do not choke.
Up from ashes I come alive
Though burned with fire I survive.
Brush soot off my feathers
and spread my wings to prepare to fly
To begin a life not foreseen.
For I am new
and unlike you
I have reason to start
with a brand new soul as well as heart
I begin to walk
I hold my breath
and take to flight
into the darkness of the night.
But I am bright and full of color.
My eyes are wide with excitement and wonder.
With wisdom of elder
and new curiosity of child
I begin my life as one of the wild.
My soul is old,
with body new.
I am a myth;
a creature of legend.
I carry my strength on wings
throughout the Heavens.
With feathers of red, yellow, and gold
through my eyes I'll see eternity
with immortality your "forever" becomes my never."
