My God. It never ceases to amaze me the level some people will stoop to just to get their point across. Just...wow.
I have to start from the beginning, and hopefully I don't forget anything.
Yesterday was the federal election for PM of Canada. Election day is always an interesting one, with tensions high and whatnot. Well, the conservatives were elected in. I'm not impressed by that, but whatever. I posted a status shortly after the results were in as something relating to it.
Here it is:

Okay, so Heather is my mom. And Alex is a friend of mine. He's a cocky little fucker who takes EVERYTHING as a personal attack if it happens to come from my mother. Cuz my mom can't stand him or his girlfriend, my friend Suzanne. And vice versa.
Well, Alex took my status, and all the comments, and made it into a note on Facebook. He apparently did it to get opinions on whether or not what my mom wrote was correct.
WHO CARES?? Everyone is entitled to their opinion, no?
To top it all off, he turned around and copied what my mom said, pasted it to his own status, and asked people for their opinions on it.
Who even does that?!? When I woke up this morning and logged onto Facebook, I realized he had done these things, and I sent him a message asking him politely to take them down because it was uncalled for.
Well, here are the messages that were passed between us.
Do me a favor. Take down the note you posted. It's uncalled for.

And delete the status you posted too. I don't know why you feel it's necessary to expose the things my mother says all over Facebook just because you don't happen to agree with her. Seriously Alex. Knock it off and delete the shit.

I think about everything I do before I do it, thank you. I didn't post my status so you could turn around and make it into something bigger than it was. And I certainly didn't turn around and post the things you said just to get people to comment and give their opinions WITHOUT your permission. Again, it was disrespectful. So after those messages, Suzanne (Alex's girlfriend) posted her status as something about how if people don't want to start a debate not to post their statuses as something to do with politics.
Uhm, the last time I checked this was a free country and I could do whatever I please on MY facebook. She also stated that she was sick and tired of hearing about the things her boyfriend says to people and that she really didn't care what he does.
So I commented and basically just told her that if her boyfriend wasn't such an ass, people wouldn't complain about him to her.
Well, God forbid I have an opinion. That ONE comment turned into numerous comments, back and forth between me, Suzanne and Alex. Then Suzanne decided to turn around and bring my mom and Trystan into the argument. Basically putting it out there that I am currently supporting my mom and Trystan and myself. And that I'm doing it all being on Welfare.

I completely lost it on her.
Oh, and apparently I'm a horrible parent because I smoke weed. It's never done around Trystan, but yet she seems to think it is.
After all was said and done, I blocked and deleted both of them from my Facebook. I also texted Suzanne and told her that she had crossed the line by bringing my son and my mother into something that had nothing to do with them. I also told her to never contact me again.
I can't believe that all of this stemmed over a status about the elections.

Of course, the day didn't end there. Because my mom woke up shortly after that due to Trystan crying cuz I took something away from him. And naturally, we got into an argument. Though arguing with my mother is generally a pretty regular occurance. We have never seen eye to eye on anything. Even when I was growing up.
Well she went out and is still mad. As for myself...well, it's been a pretty shitty day. I don't even know what to feel. I'm at a point right now where I don't even want to be alive. I'm SO sick and tired of people purposely bringing me down, and then having to deal with my mom and her bullshit menopausal moods.
Ugh.
This day can't end fast enough. An hour and a half until Trystan goes to bed. I'm seriously thinking of having a nice LONG hot bath once he is in bed.
