BankTellers=DestroyerofWorlds
This teller at my bank is a destroyer of worlds.
Okay, a bit of backstory: I have two accounts. I have a savings account and a checking account. I have my insurance and car payment and netflix taken out of my checking and i have my school payment taken out of my savings so that i wont spend it when the time comes. I realized last month that i didnt have enough money for them to take it out of my savings account because of a little miscommunication. I went in there and told them to put a $125 into my savings account from my checking. Okay. So i asked her how much money I had. She was like: oh you have $526.19 in there after the switch. I was exctatic that I had that much money because i could go to the grocery and do a little splurging, which I hadn't gotten to do in a long long time. I got a letter yesterday (ironically from both the bank and the people that take care of my school bill) that in fact, the bank had taken the money from my
savings and put it into my
checking and that my payment (which was supposed to be taken out the 20th) couldn't be taken out because of insufficient funds, so therefore I would have to be charged an additional 25 dollars for a returned check. I was beside myself with anger. I was so angry that I couldn't even see straight. I knew that I had said the right thing. I even said what the lady at the bank was supposed to do
twice before she actually did it and this shit happens. It wasnt just about the mess up. I had to actually call the people and tell them that my bank fucked up (which they're really going to believe that...
) AND on top of it, get penalized for their mistake. Oh and the icing on top of it all, I have
seven dollars to last me until Tuesday, because of the holiday. Luckily, I went to the grocery store, and I have practially a full tank of gas so there's no worry on that end. I guess I'm just so mad because my credibility has been ruined. And i know some of you guys might say: "Oh well you should have checked the receipts." This might sound mean, but as a customer, I dont feel like I should have to hold someones hand to do their job right. I realize that everyone makes mistakes, but seriously if it weren't for the fact that this girl wasnt such a snarky bitch every time I came up there, I would probably have more sympathy. I guess the one silver lining in this whole thing is that I didn't overdraw and have to pay another $30 fine for that.
Oh crap, its raining. I guess I'll be doing the bike today. heh.
I haven't lost any weight this week except for one pound which I gained back, so I'm going to be kicking this weekend into high gear. I hope that salad hasnt gone bad already. I dont think it has. If not, plan b will just have to come to me.
My right ear is infected, i think. It never used to get this badly infected before i had the gauges in, but ever since I put that four in, my right ear has been all sides of fucked up. Of course, it could be the cheap ass earrings i have in them as well. lol.
I've taken up knitting. I've got a scarf in the works right now with some beauitiful pink knit. it will be amazing. I'll post pictures up as soon as it starts making a form. right now its not very long, like maybe a couple of inches.
