I've tried drinking green tea, reading and now typing on here, but i'm still wide awake. I just can't seem to go to bed early and sleep, even though i've been up since 5.15am for work today. I must be mad. I've worked at the same hotel for 10 years now, and it never gets any easier waking up at that time when i'm on an early shift. I even do the rota's, so you'd have thought i'd have learnt not to put myself on late/early shifts by now.
I have tomorrow off work though, so that means....yep you've guessed it. LIE IN! =D
I've just had to retype that last line, as Charlie the bunny just decided to jump up and run over my laptop. It would have looked like this...74hf7r%^4. Thanks Charlie. Oh and here's a picture of him, seeing as your all probably wondering what the little troublemaker looks like.
He's a real poser!
So tomorrow night i have a night out planned with my friends. It was one of my close friends 30th birthday yesterday. Pretty scary the fact that we're all reaching that 30 mark! eek. I'm luckily the youngest out of my friends, and don't turn the big 3-0 until next August. I'm really lucky that i have some amazing friends, we've all know each other since our first day in secondary school when we were 12years old. My friend who's birthday we're celebrating tomorrow is one of my bridesmaids, and i'm her's, so we always end up talking weddings at some point. She gets married in May next year. 2013 is going to be a crazy year. We have four weddings including our own, and that means 4 hen do's. Also lots of the big 3-0 birthdays to look forward to too. Good times!
We also have lots to try and stay hopeful for this year and next. One of my friends has a 3 year old daughter that is currently fighting cancer. We are all staying positive right now, because it's the only thing we can do. She is having chemo and has already had an operation to take away part of her kidney. She is due another operation next week, which will determine how far it has spread and how much more she will need. Please keep her in your prayers. She's the happiest and strongest little girl i know, and hasn't let any of this, stop her from playing, giggling and being an otherwise normal little girl. Her mother is so wonderful and so strong, i can't imagine being in her shoes.
These entries of mine are starting to get very long. :) I blame my insomnia. Today's layout photo, was taken when i went to Chatsworth house and gardens last month, with Sam and my parents. It's so beautiful there.
Thanks for reading.
