....of kids that is. I have a new kid joining my crew starting tomorrow. This makes 6! My bff, who also keeps children in her home, is going to be bringing her kids to my house 3 days a week to help out on my busiest days and have play dates with the kids. That also gives me some time to talk to someone who understands what I'm saying lol. The new kid is one of my good friends cousin-in-laws ??..lol. I met her and her mom tonight and they seem really nice. So the ages of the children I keep are .. Tanner (my son) 20 months, Kristie Jo - 21 months, Nataley - 17 months, Hayden - 20 months, Jake - 20 months, and now Cheyenne - 3 in Feb! Not sure if I've mentioned before that Kristie Jo's mom is pregnant and due in March. So in April/May I'll have a newborn joining us but Hayden will be moving out of state around the same time. And Jake is only here from 6-11am each day. Cheyenne will only be here Wed-Fri which are actually my quieter days because a few kids don't come those days.
Tanner goes to mothers day out at our church on Tues and Thurs from 9:30 - 1:30. Gets him out of the house and a chance to play with other kids and he's in a good environment. Tanners papa takes him to and from school and Tanner LOVES riding in papa's truck. It's all we hear about when he's around. Today he brought home a birthday invitation. His first invitation from "school".
I've been introducing Tanner to the potty. He loves to sit on it whenever he has the chance and he has gone potty in it quite a few times, but I'm not sure how to get him to tell me he has to go. He usually tells me "pee pee" after he's peed. I've just been putting him on it randomly, if he wakes up with a dry diaper, or just whenever I think "hey lets try the potty" but I really want to start working on it more regularly. I'm hoping he'll be potty trained by his 2nd birthday. Wow, I can't believe he will be 2 in April!! Where has my little baby gone??
I'm watching 16 and Pregnant .. love this show. Can't wait for Teen Mom 2 next week! Ok thats it for tonight. |
