Tomorrow I'm taking my colleague's place on a 2 day Business Process Improvement course at Sunningdale (National School of Government). It's a course I was planning to book for myself but I ended up being off sick so I missed it. I think it's going to be reasonably basic and as I've been doing process design and improvement for the last 3 years or so anyway it should be simple enough.
I've been playing about with cooking some different stuff this week - did teriyaki salmon on Sunday (needed to be a little sweeter so going to get some mirin later on) and last night I made char siu (Chinese roast pork). That turned out pretty nicely though I've already thought of a few slight improvements I can make for next time. Going to find a recipe for pad thai (Thai noodles) and try that next.
