Woo! What's up, peeps?
I just watched Frozen and it is ultimately awesome. Touching. The best Disney movie I've ever seen in my entire life!
That is a short review, I know, but I've never been good with reviews.
School has been good for me, alhamdulillah. Time is starting to fly by and I have to learn how to catch up with it now.
For some reason, I've been elected as the class monitoress by our form teacher, Cikgu Cake (what? Isn't Cake a good nickname?), which was a little confusing at first. I mean, who would pick the new girl to be the class monitoress? When I asked Cikgu Cake that, she told me that as Aimer took the position of class monitor, maybe she should balance it out with the new girl being the monitoress, since Aimer has been at Abric (which will be the nickname for my new school...) since forever (not really). Rigger (my classmate, whom I love to squish with hugs) was voted by the other girls to be the assistant class monitoress. Firq (this guy who's from P6 Apple Seeds and left Shard like me) was voted to be assistant class monitor.
I joined Archery and Media & Publications for my CCAs. Archery is totally awesome but we have yet to begin with M&P since we need to use the library but it will be needed for the haflah (it's a prize-giving ceremony...we're going to celebrate the GCE 'O' Level results which came out last Monday. Abric was the top scorer amongst the other Russer Mud schools!!) which will take place next week.
Oh! That reminds me...I've also been nominated to be a school prefect! Isn't that amazing?! I still can't get used to the idea of being a prefect, though. There is no way am I ever going to be a good role model. Seriously. I will probably mess things up.
Another thing is that I just might be selected to play badminton in the Inter-Madrasah Games!! We're still in training and the coaches haven't decided yet, though. The problem is, most of us haven't played badminton for years and all of our skills are pretty rusty. Imagine if I do get selected, though! ...It'll just be added weight onto my shoulders... We have badminton practise tomorrow, from 9.00 AM to 3.00 PM. I know, shocking, right?
I think that's pretty much it. I felt like I just had to jot down what's been happening. I would write about one of my random thoughts if I could but I'm out of thinking juice right now.
