Blocked???

Do you know what I encountered when I went to view Ryan's most recent entry? A box saying, "You have been blocked. Now bugger off and bother someone else!" Haha, just kidding.

Seriously though, Ryan blocked me...or so it seems. I wonder if it is because I told him he had more "girl tendencies" than me. That's okay. I'll cry because I was left in the dust yet again, but only for awhile.

Alright, that's as melodramatic as I get...and it is only in jest. If he doesn't want me to read his diary, I'll accept that gracefully and bow out. No problem.

Onto other news...

It is snowing outside and apparently has been all day long. It was 70 degrees only 2 days ago. A common saying in MO is: "If you don't like the weather, wait a few minutes and it will change." I'm not even joking. I had to work last night from 4pm-4am. I couldn't fall asleep until after 5:30am this morning so I didn't get up until late this afternoon. My sister called me and woke me up. It was arranged for me to call her once I officially woke up though. I called her three times before I even got into contact with her. I'm on the phone with her right now.

She told me something about Grandpa while on the phone. I guess the doctors think he has poor circulation in his legs. He doesn't know anything yet but he may have to undergo surgery again...this time on his legs (and the veins in them). I didn't know anything about this until tonight. His last surgery went well...if you want to call it surgery. He had another cancerous spot on his ear lobe taken off by a laser. This last time, they took him off of his blood thinner medication at least. The first spot he had removed decided to start bleeding at one point and he had lost about a pint of blood from that small wound. (By the way, the cancerous spots are not serious. They just needed to be removed.) I think he has one more spot to get removed, but I am not 100% certain.

She also told me that her and Brad (her fiance) are shooting for June-July 2009 for the wedding. We'll see if it happens. They have postponed it several times now. Haha.

Let's see...What has been going in on my life recently?

I might be going back to Mexico for a missions trip (March 13-21). Nothing is set regarding that trip yet due to finances. I'm waiting to hear back from 2 churches I wrote regading that situation.

I think that is just about it. I work, work, work otherwise. I didn't have to work today so I slept in and, once I woke up, I laid on the couch and watched the snow fall. The radio was also on at the time. It has been a relaxing day.

I made ham and bean soup the other night for dinner (with cornbread). I even sent over to a neighbor. I feel terrible for subjecting others to that terrible tasting soup now. I'm not exaggerating. I couldn't even eat my bowl of soup. I ended up wasting most of it. I dumped it outside. I'll probably have multiple varieties of beans grow up beside my house now. Haha. I'm normally a decent/good cook but that was a rousing failure! My only consolation is that the cornbread was edible. The cornbread ended up being my entire dinner.

I need to find a ride to church in the morning since my usual ride (yvette) is out of town with family.
