how do ya'll pimp ur diaries?? | 11/24/2010 |
 so i've been doing a little bit more reading than writing on here lately.. and everyone's pages i've come across so far is soo pretty/interesting looking.. even the comments.. how do u do that? i feel my page is lacking personality (and i myself have tons.) i would like to reflect that somehow.. is it codes? if so where do u put them?
on another note.. now currently listening to the twista station on my pandora widget.. (sn: widget.. heehee.. what a funny word) anyway.. this station is great. and boyfriend is sleeping so soundly next to me.. the weather is freezing.. we just recently had some what of a blizzard here in good ole washington.. i think it's about 9 degrees outside..
and another question..
with all this snow that we recently just started having.. i've found it difficult to put together a business casual outfit that will still keep me warm.. slacks and winter boots just don't go. (or maybe it's the type of slacks and boots i have.. ) so if u have an idea of how to put together a business casual outfit that still works for the snow. (pix or referance to pix is greatly appreciated)
... what else.. hmm.. oh yea..
my family finally had a family meeting today. aren't those great?? (little background on the house hold.. i have 2 parents, 3 siblings and a dog. all together 6 in my immediate family.. my sister recently moved back in with her husband and 5 yr old daughter. as well as my brother that went away to college moved back in as well. and me, well i'm in and out but boyfriend is always by my side so we count him as part as the house hold since he's here all the time. if ur keeping track, there is now 10 (if u count the dog) in the house now. and with all of us staying here with different schedules. a family meeting was needed. if ur thinking about holding a family or even a roommate meeting it works well to have an agenda and stay on track. or else u'll get lost in conversation and wont accomplish much.)

(i know this whole entry is pretty random.. btw i'm just writing as i go.. )
do u think it is weird that i keep in contact with my high school councelor? or rather that he keeps in contact with me. it's been 4 yrs now since i graduated and he always invites me out to grab a drink and catch up. which i usually decline. i bring this up because i have my facebook up in a seperate tab and noticed i have an im from him (its 3am.) he's never been inappropriate or anything. but conversation has shifted a bit from councelor/student to more of an old friend type. i just don't know if other people usualy make that transition with their old educators?

haha I hope this helps - there are a few layout diaries on here, ones that specifically create layouts (lithium layouts, classic layouts and simple layouts are the diaires that spring to mind), but basically they create the codes and you pick the one you like, copy the code and paste into you entry section (there is a way of making sure its always there so you dont have to keep copying and pasting the code - go to manage my diary...then i think you click on entries and then click on entry template...paste the code there and save it - that way everytime you click "nw entry" the code will always be there - its the same with comment layouts). Hope this helps.
